Meet Charles & Abby Rose.
Charles and Abby Rose Metcalf are the Lead Pastors of Temple New York City.
Married for ten years, they have four children: Arlo, Luna, Jade, and Sunny. At the center of their lives is their family. They share a love for art, music, and creativity, and believe the Church is the most beautiful place for these gifts to flourish and for people to encounter the beauty of God. For the past 14 years, Charles and Abby have devoted their lives to building the local church, including the last decade serving at Transformation Church.
Long before Temple New York City was a vision, New York was a city they loved. Over the last decade of their life they have spent birthdays, anniversaries and formed many memories & what began as a love for New York has become a desire to build a church that serves this great city. Everything we do begins with Jesus, is shaped by our love for people, and is expressed through beauty.
As they begin this new chapter, Charles & Abby Rose are filled with faith and expectation for all God has ahead. Their prayer is that Temple would be a place filled with God’s presence, overflowing with joy, and known for its love for people.
